The Indian Premier League (IPL) , is a T20 cricket competition created by the BCCI. The first IPL tournament has been commenced from 18 April 2008.

Rounds

Teams play each other twice in a round robin system and have to play half matches on their home(city) ground, with the top four ranking sides progressing to the semi-finals and then 2 to finals.
